Welcome to the Journey: Practical Wisdom for Your Homeschooling Adventure

Hello and welcome! My name is Lenny Giardino. After serving as a school superintendent, principal, and classroom teacher over a career spanning more than three decades, I transitioned into educational consulting. Throughout those 30+ years in public education, one of my most rewarding endeavors has been collaborating directly with homeschooling families to build bridges between traditional instruction and home-based learning.

Whether you are just starting out with a preschooler or guiding a high schooler toward college or a trade, homeschooling is a deeply personal, incredibly rewarding, and sometimes overwhelming journey. My goal is: to help parents and students make the most of homeschooling experience, by serving as a partner, guide, and resource.

• Support for Neurodivergent Learners & Intellectual Disabilities: Every child learns differently. We will explore specialized strategies, accommodations, and practical interventions to help neurodivergent children and those with intellectual disabilities thrive.
• Best Practices from Pre-K to Post-Secondary: We will cover educational goals across the entire Pre-K–12 spectrum, including preparing students for vocational paths, college admissions, and lifelong independence using current, research-backed learning methods.
• Real-World Problem Solving: From daily hurdles like keeping a reluctant reader engaged to complex challenges like navigating high school transcripts or specialized learning plans, we will tackle problems big and small together.
• A Collaborative Community: Education is best done in community. This space is designed for families to connect, share insights, and participate in future online learning opportunities and collaborative practice sessions.
